Description

Cisco CWDM-SFP25G-1270-40 Compatible SFP28 25G CWDM-DOM Optical Transceiver Module by BYXGD provides up to 25GBASE-ER Lite connectivity between two single-mode (essentially copper-based) fibers at distances as far as forty kilometers using multiple CWDM (Continuous Wave Division Multiplexing) wavelengths between the ranges of 1270nm and 1370nm. Its data rates vary from 8.5 Gb/s to 28.1 Gb/s, supporting 25 GbE CPRI and eCPRI applications in data centers and telecom networks.

This model utilizes a CWDM DFB laser in combination with a high-sensitivity APD receiver to deliver consistent long-distance transmission. The optical link budget can achieve up to 19 dB when FEC is applied and 14 dB without, all of which meet the standards for IEEE 802.3by 25Gb/s, SFF-8431, and SFF-8472 MSA. This BYXGD module is capable of performing real-time Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM).

The transceiver operates using a standard +3.3V power supply, has an integrated LC duplex connector, and is housed in a metal enclosure to improve EMI (electromagnetic interference) resistance. It can function within the temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and has been certified for CE and RoHS compliance. This module is also highly interoperable with other major brands of networking equipment, such as Cisco and Huawei.
