Cisco Compatible 10GBASE-BX20-U BiDi SFP+ provides a transmission speed of 10.3125 Gbps over distances up to 20 km on OS2 single-mode fiber with an LC simplex connector. It utilizes a 1270 nm DFB laser transmitter and a 1330 nm PIN receiver and supports full-duplex communication on one fiber strand. It is SFF-8431 and SFF-8472 compliant, enabling the provision of digital diagnostics via a 2-wire interface for real-time monitoring.
This module operates from a +3.3V power supply with a consumption of less than 1.0 W and has a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. It has been designed for low EMI and ESD protection and complies with Class 1 laser safety requirements. The unit has been thoroughly tested for interoperability with switches, routers, and Network Interface Cards (NIC). The 10GBASE-BX20-U is an excellent module for enterprise wiring closets, service provider transport networks, as well as Radio and Baseband Units.
