Cisco SFP-10G-BX20D-I compatible 10GBASE-BX20-D BiDi transceiver is designed with a maximum data rate of 10.3125 Gbps and can support long-distance transmissions of up to 20 km using single-mode OS2 fiber with LC simplex connectivity. The device transmits data at 1330 nm, while receiving data at 1270 nm. The device also includes a DFB Laser transmitter and a high-sensitivity PIN receiver that ensures reliable long-distance network links.
The module conforms to the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specification as well as SFF-8431 and SFF-8472 specifications. In addition, the module supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring using a 2-wire I2C interface. The device operates using a single +3.3V power supply while consuming less than 1.0 W. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to +70°C, and the device has been designed with features that ensure excellent EMI performance, as well as robust ESD protection.
