Description

10G CWDM SFP+ provides high performance, long-distance optical connections over single-mode fiber, supporting transmission distances of up to 70 kilometers and data rates of up to 10.3125 Gbps. The SFP+ module is based on EML laser and APD receiver technologies and is constructed using a transimpedance preamplifier and limiting amplifier to support long-distance Ethernet applications.

In addition, the SFI electrical interface provides a differential impedance of 100 ohms between its two electrical terminals through an AC coupling approach to minimize EMI and offer superior protection from ESD events that may occur during installation of this type of component. The hot-pluggable duplex LC connector provides a quick and easy method for integrating this type of component into pre-existing installations. Overall, this component interfaces with a +3.3V power supply and operates with less than 1 watt of power during typical operation. An internal digital diagnostic monitor (compliant with SFF-8472) provides diagnostic information on the status and performance of the 10G CWDM component. The component is rated to operate within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C to ensure maximum reliability during demanding applications.
