BYXGD Cisco CWDM-SFP10G-1270 module is a compliant SFP+ 10G CWDM optical transceiver that utilizes single-mode fiber to achieve distances of up to 40 km while providing up to 10.3125 Gbps of throughput over a 10G Ethernet connection. This module is compliant with SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8472) and features a minimum power budget of 16.8 dB. The CWDM-SFP10G-1270 transceiver utilizes an EML laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode with an integrated transimpedance amplifier to ensure that the optical performance remains stable and repeatable.
The CWDM 1270 Optical Transceiver Module can be used in multiple wavelength applications as it supports all 16 ITU-T CWDM channels, spaced 20 nm apart, covering 1270–1610 nm. The CWDM-SFP10G-1270 Optical Transceiver Module includes a 2-wire Digital Diagnostic Monitoring interface to provide real-time information on temperature, voltage, laser bias current, and laser output power.
The optical transceiver module includes the following standard features: a hot-swappable SFP+ connector, TX disable, RX loss-of-signal detection, and a low operating power consumption of only 1.2 W for energy efficiency.
