Cisco CWDM-SFP-1270 compatible 1000BASE-CWDM SFP transceiver has a maximum data rate of 1.25 Gbps and can transmit up to 80 km over single-mode fibers using standard LC duplex connectors. The unit operates over the wavelengths of 1270 nm–1610 nm utilizing DFB lasers and PIN photodiodes with DDM functionality to allow for real-time performance monitoring of the device.
The SFP CWDM transceiver is fully compliant with the SFP MSA, IEEE 802.3z, and ITU-T G.694.2 CWDM grid and has a power consumption lower than 1 W. In addition, it has been rated as Class 1 FDA laser safety rated and has wide-temperature tolerance.
This hot-swappable optical transceiver is designed to operate efficiently within various networking environments, including access, metro, and enterprise. It is ideal for enterprise communication links, metropolitan area networks (MANs), service provider (ISP), and enterprise Local Area Network (LAN) and Storage Area Network (SAN) applications and other optical interconnects.
