SFP 1000BASE-CWDM 1270nm-1610nm 40km DDM Duplex LC/UPC SMF Optical Transceiver Module

Compatible with Cisco CWDM-SFP-1270, the transceiver module is a SFP 1000BASE-CWDM transceiver with a data rate of 1.25 Gb/s, designed for Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications over single-mode fiber, for distances up to 40 km. It employs an 18-channel CWDM DFB laser transmitter (1270 nm through 1610 nm, spaced by 20 nm) and a PIN receiver with an integrated transimpedance amplifier to maintain uniform optical performance.

The module is powered through a single 3.3 V power supply and has a maximum power consumption of less than 1 W. It supports digital diagnostics monitoring in accordance with SFF-8472, which allows for real-time tracking of the following operational parameters: temperature, laser bias, optical output, received power, and voltage. The optical interface is LC Duplex-style, while the metal enclosure provides increased EMI shielding.

This hot-swappable module is compliant with both SFP MSA and IEEE 802.3z and allows for seamless integration into existing networking infrastructure. Its performance and compatibility with CWDM MUX/DEMUX devices have been fully tested to support switches, routers, and NIC devices from most major manufacturers.
