The BYXGD Industrial Media Converter Series is a Modular Fiber-to-Copper Media Converter Platform developed for Industrial and Commercial applications. The core configuration of 6 Fiber + 2 Ethernet ports is the flagship model of the series; however, customizations are available for 4, 6, or 8 Fiber interfaces with dual RJ-45 uplinks.
This modular architecture makes it possible to modify and customize the media converter to fit every need – from compact CCTV deployments to large-scale citywide networks. All converters are manufactured by BYXGD, a leading OEM product manufacturer with the capability of customizing per parameter, allowing it to assist industrial network integrators in building reliable networks.

The converter utilizes premium chipsets, which provide continuous synchronization of real-time information between copper and fiber networks. This ensures non-blocking, wire-speed forwarding, creating an exceptionally stable connection and low latency within highly trafficked data transfers.
The converter is well equipped for high-definition video distribution, control of high-speed systems, and monitoring of industries. It prevents packet loss and jitter to perform reliably up to a maximum distance of 20 km. Rugged Construction and Efficient Heat Dissipation
Industrial durability was considered when designing this device; it has a powder-coated metal enclosure that stands up to corrosion, abrasion, and mechanical stress. The unit’s side-vented construction provides airflow via passive ventilation, eliminating fan noise and the potential for mechanical failure due to fan malfunction.
This type of construction provides the unit with the ability to dissipate heat effectively and continuously without the use of fans. Because the device can operate at a constant temperature, it does so in high-temperature or very dusty environments, thus prolonging the life of its components and enhancing its reliability.
Long-Range Optical Stability
By default, the device provides one fiber optic, single-mode, and offers excellent signal quality over the longest distance of 20 km due to virtually no optical loss. Long-distance (100KM) applications are also available as optional models.
The optical modules provide high-quality optical performance for the transmission of data without distortion, while ensuring that the timing of the transmission is perfectly synchronized to avoid both time delay and frame loss, making it an ideal choice for use in applications such as video surveillance, rail systems, and traffic monitoring.

Hot-swapping is supported, allowing engineers to easily replace fiber modules without powering off their equipment, which can greatly reduce the time it takes to perform maintenance. In addition, for industrial applications, the optional DIN-rail mounting makes it easier to install inside control cabinets or racks.
