BYXGD SFP-10G-DWDM-ZR is a 10G DWDM SFP+ transceiver that operates within a C17-C61 ITU-T 100 GHz grid and supports a maximum line rate of 10.5 Gb/s and a reach of 80 km on G.652/655 (single-mode) fiber via a duplex LC/UPC interface. The device employs an EML transmitter with an APD receiver and has a 24 dB optical power budget to work with DWDM channels ranging from 1528.77-1563.86 nm for long-distance (ZR) links. Users can monitor the SFP-10G-DWDM-ZR module using Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) via a 2-wire interface, providing real-time information on module temperature, supply voltages, bias currents, and optical output powers. Compliance with SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472, IEEE 802.3ae, and RoHS is established for the SFP-10G-DWDM-ZR; the device can be replaced without powering down related systems, with a nominal power draw below 1.6 watts.
The BYXGD SFP-10G-DWDM-ZR transceiver is intended for use in 10G DWDM ZR applications, including 10GBASE-DWDM connections, in metro, regional, and long-haul networks with DWDM MUX/DEMUX over a single pair of fiber. The SFP-10G-DWDM-ZR works in conjunction with other optics of the DWDM-SFP10G-C and SFP-10G-DWDM-ZR series and can be used in 10G switches, routers, line cards, DWDM transport platforms, and over 100 other types of equipment.
