Cisco SFP-25GBX-U-10 Compatible 25GBASE-U SFP28 is a BiDi optical transceiver designed for single-fiber 25G Ethernet links. It operates by transmitting at a wavelength of 1270 nm and receiving at a wavelength of 1330 nm using G.652 single-mode fiber to a distance of up to 10 km via a single LC/UPC connection. By pairing with a compatible wavelength module, fiber utilization is doubled in comparison to dual-fiber links.
The module operates with a DFB transmitter and PIN receiver, using a 3.3V power supply with a normal consumption of 1.2 W (maximum consumption of 1.0 W). It has a metal enclosure to mitigate EMI, serves as a hot-pluggable device, and includes real-time digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM) with monitoring of power, temperature, and voltage. Compliant with IEEE 802.3cc and SFP28 MSA standards, the module utilizes a Class 1 laser and RoHS lead-free materials. The module is compatible with Cisco SFP-25GBX-U-10, Huawei 25GBase-BX-U, Juniper SFP28-25G-BXU, Arista SFP-25G-LRBD-U, and Mellanox MMA2L20-AR-BXU, etc., for efficient and reliable 25G connectivity in high-density deployments.
