25GBASE-BX40-U SFP28 BiDi Optical Transceiver supports 25.78 Gbps connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF) at distances of up to 40 km, using a 1270nm-TX / 1310nm-RX BiDi wavelength pair for single-fiber transmission and reception. The module includes a simplex LC/UPC physical interface, is hot-pluggable, and is fully compliant with SFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and 25GBASE-BX standards. This module is also compatible with CPRI/eCPRI Option 10 and is suitable for 5G fronthaul services as well as interoperating with 25G Ethernet services.
The module has Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) capabilities, allowing you to monitor the real-time status of key parameters such as Tx/Rx power, temperature, and voltage, so you can operate and troubleshoot the module easily. This lower power-consuming module operates at a maximum of ≤ 1.2 W, thus contributing as a lower power-consuming module that is easier on operating budgets in dense environments.
