BYXGD Customized Length Cisco SFP28-25G-AOC1M Compatible 25G SFP28 Active Optical Cable (AOC Cable) contains a multimode fiber optic that consists of 850 nm VCSEL transmitters and PIN receivers. The AOC Cable is terminated with an SFP28 connector on both ends. It complies with the 25GBASE-AOC standard for data rates of 25 Gbps in full duplex. The AOC Cable can be customized for lengths up to 1 meter and has a 3.0 mm diameter, a minimum bend radius of 30 mm, and utilizes the LSZH jacket to allow flexible short-distance routing.
The required power for this device is 3.3 V for both devices connected to the AOC Cable with a maximum current draw of 0.8 W. The device also supports DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) data through I²C. An operating temperature range between 0 °C and 70 °C and a humidity range of 5–85% is acceptable for the operation of this device. The AOC Cable is designed to be hot-plug-enabled per SFP28-MSA, according to guidelines outlined in SFF-8402, SFF-8431, and SFF-8472. This configuration guarantees a bit error rate (BER) less than 1e-15 for both rack-internal and adjacent-rack applications, eliminating the need for discrete transceiver support.
