BYXGD offers its 2.5G CWDM SFP 1470nm-1610nm 80km DDM Duplex LC/UPC SMF Optical Transceiver Module as an optical transceiver that provides dependable 2.488Gb/s transmission over a distance of 80km when paired with 9/125µm single-mode fiber. The optical transmitter that emits light at different wavelengths in the spectrum (20nm spacings) between the range of 1470nm to 1610nm is achieved using a CWDM DFB laser transmitter combined with an APD receiver. The optical performance is consistent for long-haul applications, and as such, the transceiver module is specifically designed for use in core applications like SONET OC-48 / SDH STM-16, Fibre Channel (1x/2x), and Gigabit Ethernet.
It conforms to the SFP MSA standard and the SFF-8472, which include features such as Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for monitoring optical power, temperature, bias current, and supply voltage in real-time. This transceiver module requires a power supply of 3.3V and employs a popular and widely accepted hot-pluggable SFP footprint with a duplex LC/UPC connector. The receiver sensitivity is typically measured at around -28dBm when it operates in an extension of reach beyond the standard limitation.
