Ciena XCVR-S10V31 Compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+ 1310nm 20km Simplex LC/UPC SMF Transceiver can support transport rates of up to 10.3125 Gbps over single-mode fiber with a distance capability of up to 20 km. The transceiver utilizes a 1310 nm DFB laser transmitter and PIN receiver for consistently reliable optical performance. It has a power consumption of 1.0 W or less and utilizes a +3.3 V power supply.
The SFP+ module is compliant with IEEE 802.3ae, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and SFF-8472 specifications and is capable of providing a 2-wire serial interface for Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) for real-time access to operational parameters such as temperature, supply voltage, and optical power. Additionally, the TO-packaged design provides optimal structural reliability and low electromagnetic interference.
The transceivers are designed for high-speed, long-haul optical transport applications including data centers, enterprise wiring closets, and service provider transport networks, as well as Radio Baseband Units, with optical interconnect performance delivering professional-grade specifications within common SFP+ MSA solutions.
