Description

Cisco SFP-10G-LR-compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver utilizes the LC/UPC simplex connector to provide 10 Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fiber (SMF) at distances up to 10 kilometers (km) with a 1310 nm wavelength. It is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ae, SFF-8472, SFF-8431, and SFF-8432 standards, ensuring compatibility across all systems and reliable performance for links of any length.

This module also supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) over a 2-wire serial interface to provide real-time diagnostics of optical power, temperature, and voltage. The module operates with a maximum power consumption of <1 W and has very low latency and stable operation when running continuously at high load. This transceiver is ideal for use in data centers, enterprise wiring closets, service provider transport systems, Radio & Baseband Unit applications, and other 10G optical networking applications.
