Cisco XFP-10GLR-OC192SR Compatible Transceiver Module enables 10GBASE-LR/LW and OC-192/STM-64 SR-1 multirate operation at 10.3125 Gb/s (LAN/WAN) and 9.953 Gb/s (OC-192/STM-64) over OS2 single-mode fiber. The module utilizes a 1310 nm DFB transmitter and operates with an LC duplex interface with a 10 km reach for 10GBASE-LR/LW and 2 km typical on POS for SR-1. The optical performance is specified to be TX -6 to 0 dBm and sensitivity to <= -14.5 dBm with a link budget of 8–14 dB dependent on application and power draw of <= 1.5 W in commercial conditions.
Physical characteristics include the hot-pluggable XFP form factor, which is compliant with the XFP MSA as well as IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW and SONET/SDH OC-192 SR-1 that may be used in CPRI/eCPRI transport applications.
