Cisco SFP-10G-BX60U compatible 10GBASE-BX60-U SFP+ BiDi transceiver with Single-Mode Fiber transmission rates of 10Gbps, and extended reach up to 60km. This transceiver operates on a simplex LC/UPC connector, and uses wavelengths of 1270nm to transmit, and 1330nm to receive, providing excellent bandwidth and solid connectivity in dense networking environments. Using wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology to reduce cabling complexity and improve efficiency, these BiDi modules enable bidirectional transmission over a single fiber.
The module conforms to SFP+ Multi-source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3ae standards and is hot-pluggable with digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) and a power consumption of less than 1.5W. Each unit is tested individually for switch, router, and server compatibility and performance in major brand equipment.
