10GBASE-BX100-U SFP+ BiDi 1490nm-TX/1550nm-RX 100km Simplex LC/UPC SMF Transceiver

Cisco SFP-10G-BX100U Compatible 10GBASE-BX100-U SFP+ BiDi module for OS2 SMF has a reach of up to 100 km via a single LC simplex connector. This module transmits 10G over a single fiber using a 1490 nm transmit and 1550 nm receive in one direction, and on the opposite channel uses 1550 nm transmit and 1490 nm receive. It allows for BiDi 10G transmission over a single fiber strand. This transceiver supports the standard SFF-8472 for digital diagnostics, which enables the user to access real-time operating parameters via the I2C interface. Each unit has been tested for compatibility with switches, routers, servers, and NICs in enterprise wiring closets, service provider transport, Radio & Baseband Units, and other high-demand environments. It operates at low power and provides high-speed performance suitable for long-haul links and sensitive networks while maintaining the standard SFP+ form factor for simple, hot-swap installation.
