Cisco XFP-10G-BX60D-I Compatible 10GBASE-BX BiDi XFP Transceiver has been developed for long-distance 10G links requiring high optical sensitivity and stable performance. Its DFB transmitter and APD receiver provide performance enhancement for weak return signals, making it appropriate for 60km backbone, metro aggregation, and carrier access applications.
Constructed with a rugged metal housing for better EMI resistance, the module is capable of consistent operation across a variety of routing and switching platforms. Full compatibility testing has been performed with Cisco XFP-10G-BX60D-I, Juniper EX-XFP-10GE-BX32-60, Dell GP-XFP-10GBX-D-60, and Brocade 10G-XFP-BXD-60K to allow for multi-vendor interoperability. Each transceiver is tested for optical performance and data integrity on an individual basis to provide reliable long-distance performance while enabling service providers, enterprises, and metro network operators to maximize the use of their BiDi fiber.
