Cisco XFP-10G-BX40U-I Compatible 10GBASE-BX XFP BiDi Transceiver is engineered for long-reach 10G Ethernet applications when there is no fiber available, and stable optical capability is needed for metro access, enterprise backbone links, and point-to-point applications.
This transceiver utilizes a 1270nm DFB laser and a 1330nm PIN receiver with TI, offering excellent optical stability and delay performance even in the most demanding Ethernet environments. The module has an all-metal enclosure that provides enhanced EMI performance and operates under a wide temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. The transceiver features an XFI electrical interface for deployment in many devices and is compatible with the following platforms: Cisco XFP-10G-BX40, Juniper EX-XFP-10GE-BX23-40, Dell GP-XFP-10GBX-U-40, and Brocade 10G-XFP-BXU-40K. This transceiver provides reliable 10G connectivity in switching and routing applications.
