Cisco XFP-10G-BX20U Compatible 10GBASE-BX XFP BiDi 1270nm-TX/1330nm-RX 20km DDM Simplex LC/UPC SMF Transceiver is a hot-pluggable optical module that provides duplex data rates of 10Gb/s over a single strand of single-mode fiber. The transceiver incorporates a 1270nm DFB laser transmitter and a 1330nm PIN photodiode receiver in a single simplex LC port and has a maximum distance of 20km over G.652 fiber.
This transceiver provides data rates from 9.953 to 11.1Gbps and is compliant with the XFP MSA Rev 4.5, IEEE 802.3ae, 10GBASE-LR/LW, and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L standards. This is a Class 1 laser product that meets FDA/CDRH and IEC-60825 safety standards.
The Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) interface provides a way to monitor the temperature of the module, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power, and supply voltage in real time. Designed for optimized reliability and stability, the module provides effective cooling and high electromagnetic interference (EMI) immunity over a broad temperature range.
This module is fully compatible with numerous OEM systems, including Cisco XFP-10G-BX20U, Juniper Networks EX-XFP-10GE-BX23-20, Brocade 10G-XFP-BXU-20K, and Dell (DE) GP-XFP-10GBX-U-20, and extends the deployment of 10GbE to a variety of network platforms.
