Cisco Compatible 100GBASE-ZR4 QSFP28 1310nm 100km optical transceiver module allows for 100 Gigabit Ethernet communication over a single-mode fiber optic cable with duplex LC connectors, at a wavelength of 1310 nm and up to 100 km in distance. It transmits across four multiplexed wavelengths internally managed for throughput.
Features of the module include a 4-channel EML transmitter, a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) for extended reach without external amplification, and a receiver with a 4-channel PIN photodetector to maintain high signal integrity. The module is fully IEEE 802.3, QSFP28 MSA, and SFF-8636 compliant, and it supports digital optical monitoring through an I²C interface for real-time monitoring and diagnostics.
The module is housed in a metal enclosure specifically designed to minimize EMI. It has a maximum power consumption of 6W and is hot-swappable for maintenance.
