Cisco-Compatible 100GBASE-PLR4L QSFP28 optical transceiver provides 100 Gbps Ethernet transmission through single-mode fiber (SMF) for distances reaching up to 2 kilometers, over the 1310 nm wavelength using an MTP (MPO-12) connector. It meets IEEE 802.3bm and 100G-PLR4L MSA standards for compatibility and improved performance with industry-leading network platforms.
The module includes live digital diagnostics (DDM) via the I²C interface, which grants access to several parameters including temperature, voltage, and optical power for real-time monitoring and management of the system. With a maximum power consumption (Po) of 3.5 W, it offers a lot in terms of operating power efficiency, and its operation is low latency to ensure maximum signal integrity.
As it is a hot-swappable module in the QSFP28 form factor, it allows for easy installation and upgrades with reduced downtime.
