Cisco GLC‑EZX‑SM‑160 Compatible 1000BASE-ZXC SFP Transceiver is designed to permit maximum Gigabit Ethernet transmission for up to 160 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1550 nm with LC duplex connectors. The module supports a data rate of 1.25 Gbps and is supported by a DFB laser and PIN photodiode for superb performance and signal stability for long-haul network links.
This module is compatible with the following transceivers: Cisco GLC‑EZX‑SM‑160, Juniper Networks SFP‑1GE‑EZX‑160, Arista Networks SFP‑1G‑EZX‑160, Brocade E1MG‑ZXC‑160, and Alcatel-Lucent SFP‑GIG‑ZXC; therefore, interoperability across network platforms is fully supported.
It is DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) compliant and hot-pluggable with <1 W power consumption. The module is designed for Internet Service Provider (ISP), Enterprise LAN, and SAN Networks applications, as well as Data Center optical links, while conforming to IEEE 802.3z and SFP MSA specifications for reliable and stable high-speed communication.
