1000BASE-BX-U SFP BiDi 1310nm-TX/1490nm-RX 10km Simplex LC/UPC SMF

Cisco GLC-BX-U Compatible 1000BASE-BX-U transceiver family supports 1310nm TX and 1490nm RX wavelengths through single-mode fiber (SMF) with LC simplex connectors, providing up to 10 km links. The transceiver must be used with a complementary wavelength partner for bi-directional communication. This module supports standard 1000BASE Ethernet data rates and is applicable for data centers, telecom, and enterprise networks. Digital Optical Monitoring (DDM/DOM) is also supported for real-time diagnostics and visibility into the health of the link. The module is RoHS compliant and Class 1 FDA laser safety compliant. Power consumption is low, with high reliability in operating temperature specifications. The transceiver is hot-pluggable and has easy installation. It can be used for uplinks, server connections, and switch-to-switch connections over SMF.
