1000BASE-BX-D SFP BiDi 1550nm-TX/1310nm-RX 40km Simplex LC/UPC SMF

Cisco GLC-BX40-D Compatible 1000BASE-BX-D is a BiDi SFP transceiver designed for single-mode fiber, which transmits 1000BASE Ethernet over dual wavelengths of 1550 nm TX and 1310 nm RX using LC connectors. Supporting a maximum link distance of 40 km and an optical budget of about 6–8 dB, this module is ideal for long-haul data center and campus network connections. Operating at a nominal rate of 1 Gbps, with low insertion loss and a high optical budget to sustain performance in telecom workloads, the transceiver also provides Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of optical power, temperature, and RX errors, improving maintenance prediction and fault diagnosis. The transceiver complies with IEEE 802.3z, RoHS, and Class 1 FDA laser safety requirements.

Compatibility includes Cisco GLC-BX40-D, Juniper Networks SFP-GE40KT15R13, Brocade E1MG-1G-BXD-40, H3C SFP-GE-LH40-SM1550-BIDI, D-Link DEM-331T, TRENDnet TEG-MGBS40D5, and other MSA-compatible devices. Optional test reports and vendor certification are also available.
