Cisco GLC-BX-20D Compatible 1000BASE-BX-D SFP transceiver module can transmit up to 20 km distance over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1550nm TX and 1310nm RX wavelengths with LC simplex connections. The transceiver module is made for bi-directional data transmission, and it will still function, but it is best paired with a like transceiver or network device that works using the opposite wavelengths.
This SFP transceiver module is compatible with many OEM brands/models, including but not limited to: Cisco GLC-BX-20D, Juniper Networks SFP-GE20KT15R13, Brocade E1MG-1G-BXD-20, HPE SFP-1G-BXU-20, H3C SFP-GE-20-SM1550-BIDI, and Mikrotik S-35LC20D, making it easy to integrate into many environments. 1000BASE-BX compliant, the avoided fiber complies with standard Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for various applications, specific to telecom, data centers, and enterprise networks.
The transceiver module has a DOM (Digital Optical Monitoring) function that allows monitoring of operating data, such as temperature, voltage, and optical power levels, ensuring optimal network performance management.
