Cisco SFP-10/25G-CSR-S compatible 10/25GBASE-CSR SFP28 transceiver operates at 850nm and provides 10/25GbE connectivity over OM4 and OM3 fiber. The transceiver supports dual-rate operation and has a distance of 400m for OM4 fiber (300m for OM3). The transceiver has an LC duplex connector, and the module is hot-pluggable, consumes low power, and offers Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DOM/DDM) for real-time monitoring of parameters for accurate readouts instead of maintenance in a live network.
The transceiver is compliant with SFP28 MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8472, and IEEE 802.3by specifications, as well as RoHS/lead-free compliant. The metal casing reduces EMI, and the Class 1 laser safety also keeps this product secure in operation. The transceiver is a great substitute for extended links in 10G and 25G Ethernet, Telecom, and Data Center short-reach deployments, with an interoperable form factor with other data center switches, enterprise routers, and server Network Interface Cards (NICs).
